- The hourly range pay for this position is $41.43
- $59.19. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience. Existing employees will receive increases as outlined by their bargaining agreement. Work Schedule
- This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day (36 hour work week). Must be able to work any shift or days of the week. Environment

THE ROLE
Under general supervision, conducts detailed inspections of electrical systems in building construction and renovation in progress and upon completion to verify continuous compliance with approved plans, specifications and applicable codes and ordinances specializing in electrical inspections. Performs inspections, investigates and analyzes problems and recommends solutions for modifications and repairs to existing complex systems, ensuring safety and compliance, and provides guidance to contractors, builders, and the public. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent; and Five (5) years of practical level experience as a Master Electrician. OSHA 10 Hour Construction must be obtained within fifteen (15) days of date of hire.Equivalency:
Nine (9) years of journey level experience as a Journeyman Electrician with Journeyman Electrician Certificate issued by a recognized public agency as determined by the Building Official may be substituted for the education and experience required above. Licenses and Certifications Possession of International Code Council (ICC) certification as a Commercial Electrical Inspector at the time of hire. Electrical Plans Examiner certification within one (1) year of hire/reclassification. Commercial Combination Inspector Certifications in Building, Plumbing, and Mechanical within (2) two years of hire/reclassification. Possession of a Master Electrician Certificate issued by a recognized public agency as determined by the Building Official. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Nevada state driver's license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record.SELECTION PROCESS
