Electrical QA/QC Data Center Inspector

$178/day for each day worked ($110 lodging + $68 meals)

Electrical QA/QC Data Center Inspector Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Inspector to perform quality assurance and quality control inspections on electrical systems within a data center environment. The Inspector will verify electrical installations for compliance with project drawings, specifications, NEC requirements, client standards, and commissioning requirements. This position requires a strong electrical background with the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, identify deficiencies, maintain detailed inspection documentation, and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform QA/QC inspections of medium

  • and low-voltage switchgear Inspect UPS systems, PDUs, generators, and transformers Inspect cable tray, conduit, and grounding systems Verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, NEC, local electrical codes, and client standards Review and track submittals, RFIs, and as-built documentation Witness and document insulation resistance (Megger) testing Perform/document torque verification Witness pre-functional and functional testing Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed Maintain detailed QA/QC reports and inspection logs Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams
Qualifications:

3+ years of electrical QA/QC or field inspection experience Experience in data centers or mission-critical environments preferred Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and NEC Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Strong documentation and communication skills Must be comfortable with bending, standing, climbing, kneeling, and twisting

Preferred Certifications:

NICET Electrical Certification OSHA 10 or

OSHA 30 NFPA 70E
Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Pre-employment 5-panel drug screen required Pre-employment background check required
