Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Data Center Inspector for a 7-month project in Bowling Green, OH. Candidates should have at least 3 years of electrical QA/QC or field inspection experience. Data center or mission-critical experience is preferred.
The Electrical QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations, verifying compliance with project drawings and specifications, documenting deficiencies, and coordinating with contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform QA/QC inspections on electrical systems, including:
Medium- and low-voltage switchgear
UPS systems
PDUs
Generators
Transformers
Cable tray
Conduit
Grounding systems
Verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, NEC and local electrical codes, client standards, and commissioning requirements.
Review and track submittals, RFIs, and as-built documentation.
Witness and document testing activities, including:
Insulation resistance (Megger) testing
Torque verification
Pre-functional testing
Functional testing
Identify deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actions.
Maintain detailed QA/QC reports and inspection logs.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in electrical QA/QC or field inspection.
Data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and NEC.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Electrical construction or inspection experience preferred.
Preferred Certifications
NICET Electrical Certification
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
NFPA 70E
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of an active construction environment, including:
Standing for extended periods
Bending
Climbing
Kneeling
Twisting
Additional Requirements
Pre-employment 5-panel drug screen required.
Pre-employment background check required.
