at Jacobs in Ontario, Oregon, United States Job Description We're looking for a Senior Construction Inspector
- Transportation to be based in the Oregon area (affiliated with offices in Bend, Portland, or Corvallis) who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients' business and business practices.
- so we can make big impacts on the world, together Willing to travel Oregon-wide under per diem during the construction season and then office or home-office in the off season
- High School Diploma or equivalent certified technical training required
- 7+ years of experience working in DOT construction industry
- Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements.
- Able and willing to work day and/or flexible schedules including weekends as required to support the project requirements.
- Valid drivers license with good driving history Ideally, you'll also have:
- Current, or ability to acquire Oregon DOT construction inspection and Americans with Disability Act ramp certification.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
