Position Summary

Seeking an I&E Inspector to oversee construction activities at a compressor station facility (brownfield/greenfield). The Inspector will ensure instrumentation and electrical construction work is executed in accordance with client specifications, industry codes, and safety standards. Upon completion of this project, the inspector may roll over to a subsequent project location.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and inspect instrumentation and electrical construction activities at the compressor station site

Verify installation, wiring, and equipment work complies with project specifications, codes, and standards

Review and interpret electrical/instrumentation drawings, P&IDs, and specifications

Document daily inspection activities, non-conformances, and quality issues

Coordinate with construction crews, project management, and quality personnel to resolve field issues

Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and site-specific safety plans

Qualifications

Prior experience as an I&E Inspector on compressor station, pipeline, or midstream infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, codes, and construction practices

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical specifications

Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., NICET or equivalent)

Willingness to relocate to the next project site upon completion

Strong communication and documentation skills
