Job Description

As a Construction Erosion Control Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring that home building projects meet environmental standards and progress safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Install, inspect, and maintain erosion control measures such as silt fences, sediment basins, and erosion mats according to project specifications. Lead or support team members in executing erosion control plans on active construction sites. Conduct regular site inspections to assess the effectiveness of erosion control measures and address any issues promptly. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and site conditions. Assist in managing contracts for erosion control materials and services, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Qualifications Experience working on construction sites, particularly with erosion control or civil construction projects. Familiarity with erosion control practices. Valid driver's license. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including standing, walking, lifting heavy materials, and performing manual tasks. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, engineers, contractors, and clients.
