Job Description

Job Summary EnviroProz is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Part-Time Environmental / Mold Inspector to perform residential environmental inspections throughout our service area. This is a flexible, field-based position ideal for someone with prior experience in environmental inspection, mold remediation/restoration, home inspection, building science, construction, HVAC, or a related field . The right candidate should have a good understanding of residential buildings, strong observational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with homeowners. Specialized training in EnviroProz inspection procedures, testing methods, and equipment will be provided.
Compensation:
$250-$300 per completed inspection, based on experience. Most residential inspections require approximately 2½-3 hours on-site. Responsibilities Conduct residential environmental and mold inspections at client properties. Perform thorough visual assessments of interior and exterior areas of homes. Evaluate areas for potential moisture intrusion, water damage, mold growth, and other environmental concerns. Use professional inspection and testing equipment as required. Collect environmental samples following established procedures and protocols. Document observations, measurements, photographs, sampling information, and inspection findings accurately. Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain inspection procedures when appropriate. Follow established EnviroProz inspection protocols, quality standards, and documentation requirements. Maintain and properly care for company-provided inspection and testing equipment. Preferred Qualifications Relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Environmental inspection or indoor environmental work Mold remediation or restoration Residential home inspection Building science Construction or property assessment HVAC or moisture-related building diagnostics Other related residential field inspection experience Candidate Requirements Professional appearance and strong communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and observational skills. Comfortable working directly with homeowners in occupied residences. Ability to work independently and follow established inspection procedures. Dependable transportation and ability to travel to residential properties throughout the service area. Comfortable accessing basements, attics, crawlspaces, and other areas commonly encountered during residential inspections. Basic computer and smartphone proficiency for documentation, photographs, and field reporting. Dependable, punctual, and professional when representing EnviroProz.
