Job Description

Location:
Philadelphia International Airport General Summary:
The Sr. Mechanical Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical installations and systems at airport construction projects comply with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting inspections, testing equipment, documenting findings, and coordinating with project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality and safe mechanical infrastructure.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 10 + years of experience in large buildings construction environment, preferably in airport projects or large-scale infrastructure.
Certifications:
OSHA 10 preferred. ASME, NFPA, or HVAC-related certifications preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems.
Skills:
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and technical report writing.
Software Proficiency:
Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, or inspection-related software is a plus.
