Responsibilities:

Investigating complaints related to potential zoning violations. Conducting property inspections and issuing citations when appropriate. Reviewing building plans to ensure compliance with local zoning laws and regulations. Working with property owners to identify and resolve zoning violations. Maintaining accurate documentation related to inspections, complaints, and enforcement activities. Safely and responsibly traveling to various locations using a municipal vehicle.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record. Previous experience in zoning, planning, or construction required. Knowledge of zoning laws, or the ability to learn and apply applicable regulations. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
