Transportation Construction Inspector York, PAFull-TimeConstruction Job OpeningsTransportation Construction Inspector Apply To Position Use My Indeed Resume Apply Using LinkedIn Sign On Bonus - $1,000 Responsibilities Complete inspection and documentation of a wide variety of construction activities by the contractor confirming all work is being done in accordance with specifications. Review and interpret contract and job specifications Maintain daily paperwork in accordance with clients' requirements Requirements Perform math calculations Proficient computer skills Detail oriented A valid driver's license is required Physical requirements Stand for extended periods of time Walk several miles per day Work in the outdoors in various weather conditions Work various shifts including overtime as needed Travel to project sites Eligibility 2 years minimum transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience or 4 years minimum of highway or bridge construction experience or Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Preferred certifications but not required: NICET highway construction level II PennDOT concrete NECEPT bituminous
