This is an excellent entry-level, no-experience-required opportunity. It is a strong resume-builder for students or individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in construction management, Comprehensive training will be provided, and there is significant room for professional growth.

Requirements:

No prior experience required;we will fully train you in SWPPP standards and field sampling techniques. Must possess a valid Driver's License and a reliable personal vehicle for travelling between sites. Must possess a computer and a printer. Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability are absolute must. Must provide your own steel-toe boots. Company-issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be always worn on-site. Weekly Inspections are done on Monday or Tuesday (anytime between these hours 7-3:30). Good communication skills. The assistant will be walking the project construction sites to conduct visual inspections between 3-4 job sites on weekly basis. Compensation is per weekly inspection, plus higher compensation for rain event inspections and sampling (when needed). Construction sites are in multiple cities around the Chatsworth/San Fernando Valley area. Most of the job sites are close to one another. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to verify implementation of stormwater control measures in accordance with the California Construction General Permit (CGP). Take photos and notes during inspections of Best Management Practices (BMPs) in the field. Print inspections, and update SWPPP book on-site as needed.
