Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Home Inspector, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of residential properties. Your expertise will help clients make informed decisions by thoroughly evaluating homes for structural integrity, building code adherence, and overall condition. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction knowledge and inspection skills in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment dedicated to excellence and safety. Duties Conduct comprehensive home inspections, assessing structural components, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and foundation conditions. Analyze construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify building specifications and compliance with local building codes and regulations. Perform detailed quality control inspections on residential properties to identify defects or safety hazards. Interpret and apply building code analysis and construction regulations to ensure homes meet all legal standards. Document inspection findings accurately using digital tools like Microsoft Office applications and specialized inspection software. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate inspection results clearly and professionally. Ensure all inspections adhere to safety regulations and public infrastructure construction standards while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Valid license as a Home Inspector with relevant state or local licensing authorities. Proven experience working on construction sites or in construction management roles with a focus on residential or civil infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of building code compliance, construction regulations, and public works construction inspection procedures. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data collection and report writing. Experience conducting construction quality inspections and site inspections for residential or public infrastructure projects. Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail in identifying issues related to quality control and safety regulations. Familiarity with construction specifications, contracts, pipeline systems, and working on construction projects involving civil infrastructure roles.
