Job Overview We are seeking a licensed, detail-oriented Home Inspector with a proven track record of excellence. In this role, you will perform comprehensive residential property inspections across the greater Memphis area. You will serve as an educator for first-time homebuyers and seasoned investors alike, translating complex technical findings into clear, objective insights, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Duties Perform thorough home inspections, evaluating structural elements, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and other key components Ensure compliance with local building codes, construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures during inspections Document findings accurately through detailed reports, photographs, and data collection methods for client review Provide objective, clear, and calm verbal summaries to clients and agents on-site Deliver accurate, comprehensive written reports within our guaranteed timeframe Maintain the highest levels of professional ethics, honesty, and client confidentiality Qualifications Valid active Tennessee Home Inspector License in good standing Minimum of 4 years of active, professional home inspection experience Strong working knowledge of building code analysis, construction regulations, and safety regulations applicable to home inspections Experience with modern home inspection reporting software (e.g., Inspector Toolbelt or Spectora) Additional certifications in air-testing, radon-testing, and main line sewer inspections are encouraged, but can also be obtained after you're hired Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-first service mentality Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record Ability to navigate roofs, crawlspaces, and attics safely What We Offer Competitive starting compensation Compensation growth based on experience and volume Flexible scheduling options Full administrative back-office support (scheduling, billing, and customer service) Access to ongoing professional development and community networking How To Apply If you carry yourself with the utmost integrity and want to work with a team that values your professional reputation as much as you do, we want to hear from you.
