Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time NACE Level 1 Coating Inspector to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of coating applications on various projects, particularly within public infrastructure and civil engineering environments. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of safety, durability, and regulatory adherence across various construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful public works projects, contributing to the integrity and longevity of essential infrastructure. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of coating applications on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards. Review construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings to verify coating procedures align with project requirements. Monitor ongoing construction activities related to coating work, identifying any deviations from approved plans or safety regulations. Collect, document, and analyze data related to coating quality, environmental conditions, and application processes for accurate reporting. Ensure compliance with building codes, construction regulations, and safety standards during all inspection activities. Collaborate with construction management teams to resolve issues related to coating quality or regulatory compliance promptly. Perform regular site inspections to verify that all work is performed according to contractual obligations and quality control protocols. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and data analysis. Construction site experience with a focus on public infrastructure projects and civil engineering works. Strong understanding of building code analysis, construction regulations, and safety regulations applicable to coating applications. Experience in quality control and inspection processes specific to construction projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction specifications accurately. Knowledge of construction management practices including contracts, data collection, and quality inspections.
