Job Description
The City of Marion, Texas (the "City") is soliciting sealed bid proposals for building inspections and plan review services for commercial, residential and industrial sites and development within in the City as more particularly described herein (the "Services"). Individuals and firms (the "Respondents") are invited to submit bid proposals for the provision of these services as detailed herein. This proposed schedule is tentative and may be modified throughout the selection process at the discretion of the City. Issuance of RFP August 7, 2026 Deadline for questions 10:00 a.m. (CDT) August 31, 2026 City responses to all questions 2:00 p.m. (CDT) September 11, 2026 Submissions due 10:00 a.m. (CDT) September 21, 2026 Evaluation of Proposals September 21, 2026 to October 02, 2026 Selection (on or after) 6:00 p.m. (CDT) October 05, 2026 The City will accept sealed proposals until 10:00 a.m. (CDT), September 21, 2026. Submissions received after the due date and time will not be considered. Any selection will be made at an open meeting of the City Council and is anticipated to occur on or after October 05, 2026.
