We re seeking an ICC-Certified Building Inspector near the San Marcos, TX area, full-time or part-time. This is more than just inspections-it s about ensuring the safety, quality, and future-readiness of the places where people live, work, and thrive. What You'll Do In this role, you ll play a vital part in safeguarding communities by: Conducting inspections before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Issuing permits, violation notices, and stop-work orders when needed. Clearly communicating findings with homeowners, contractors, and field personnel. Mentoring and training inspection staff to build a stronger, more knowledgeable team. Serving as a trusted resource for technical guidance and customer service. Staying ahead of the curve by integrating new developments in building and safety standards. What We're Looking For A State of Texas Plumbing Inspector's License. ICC Certifications (Commercial and Residential required). 3 or more years of inspection experience with municipal agencies. Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Why Willdan? Impactful Work
