Electrical QA/QC Data Center Inspector Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Electrical QA/QC Data Center Inspectors to perform quality assurance and quality control inspections on electrical systems within a data center environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, the NEC, electrical drawings and schematics, and experience documenting inspections and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform QA/QC inspections on electrical systems, including: Medium- and low-voltage switchgear UPS systems PDUs Generators Transformers Cable tray, conduit, and grounding systems Verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, NEC and local electrical codes, client standards, and commissioning requirements. Review and track submittals, RFIs, and as-built documentation. Witness and document testing activities, including: Insulation resistance (Megger) testing Torque verification Pre-functional testing Functional testing Identify deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actions. Maintain detailed QA/QC reports and inspection logs. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams. Qualifications for

Electrical QA/QC Data Center Inspector:

3+ years of experience in electrical QA/QC or field inspection. Experience working in data centers or mission-critical environments preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and NEC. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Strong documentation and communication skills. NICET Electrical Certification preferred. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.

NFPA 70E

preferred. Must be able to safely use standard electrical tools and required PPE. Must be able to perform job duties requiring bending, standing, climbing, kneeling, and twisting. Additional Requirements for

Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have reliable transportation to the job site. Position requires standard electrical PPE. Pre-employment 5-panel drug screen required. Background check required.
