Large Industrial Construction Project We are seeking an IFC Certified Firestop Inspector to join our team on a large-scale industrial construction project in Delta, Utah . This position offers consistent overtime, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work on a high-profile industrial project while ensuring firestop systems meet applicable codes and quality standards. Responsibilities Inspect installed firestop systems to verify compliance with approved designs, manufacturer specifications, and applicable building and fire codes. Perform inspections of penetrations, joints, and fire-resistance-rated assemblies throughout the project. Document inspection findings and maintain accurate reports and records. Identify deficiencies and work with contractors to ensure corrective actions are completed. Coordinate with project management, contractors, and quality control personnel to maintain project compliance. Verify firestop materials are installed in accordance with tested and listed systems. Maintain compliance with IFC requirements, project specifications, and site safety standards. Requirements Current IFC Firestop Inspector Certification (Required) Previous experience inspecting firestop systems on commercial or industrial construction projects preferred. Strong understanding of firestop systems, tested assemblies, and applicable building and fire codes. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and manufacturer installation requirements. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to work 60+ hours per week , including overtime as needed. Reliable transportation to the job site.
