Job Description

Loudoun Water, located in Ashburn VA, is a public utility that provides water and wastewater service to customers in Loudoun County. We offer highly competitive salaries, a stable work environment, and excellent employee benefits! We are looking for motivated, eager-to-learn individuals for the Loudoun Water inspection team. Loudoun Water is open to considering applicants at either the Inspector or Senior Inspector level. The Utility Systems Inspector will assist in ensuring constructed public water and sewer facilities infrastructure is durable, reliable and meets all specifications by performing technical construction inspections and coordinating with Loudoun Water departments as required. The ability to read plans and technical drawings is desirable.
Requirements:
Graduation from high school and progressively responsible experience in water and sewer utility construction or inspection. Basic computer skills including using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; knowledge of computer/smart phone use to perform and document daily activities. Must be willing to advance job knowledge through formal training. Ability to work overtime as position may require work outside of normal working hours. The individual must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
Salary Range:
$70,000-$88,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Position will remain open until filled. EOE Apply online at www.loudounwater.org.
