Job Description
Job Description Please provide three (3) references with your resume. Two (2) must be from your most recent employers and one (1) can be a personal reference as long as it's not a family member. As a Residential and Commercial Sales Inspector, you will have a designated sales territory where you will be responsible for devising and executing a sales plan from creative sources and qualified leads. You will also develop community relationships for referrals and new sales opportunities. The Residential and Commercial Sales Inspector will conduct an inspection and prepare a specific proposal for the individual homeowner's or business owners needs then close the client in a consultative manner. We are looking for individuals who are safety-focused and team players to offer solutions for various products, including insulation in the attic and crawlspace, moisture issues, termite treatments, wildlife, general pest control, etc. You may be inspecting inside attics, basements, crawl spaces, and new residential construction and commercial facilities. There will be sales objectives to meet on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. You will have warm prospects, but you will also need to do some creative prospecting. Your goal is to gather information about customer needs, offer and present solutions and close the sale. What do you need to be successful? Pest experience preferred - will train with outside sales experience! High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license required with a good driving record Ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification (company paid) Ability to work in the field independently and interact with our great customers What will my work environment be like? - Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations: Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
