Performance-based (Inspectors retain 90% of inspection fee) About the Role HomeInspections.com is expanding and seeking licensed home inspectors to perform residential inspections in selected Florida service areas. This is an opportunity to work independently while receiving booking, scheduling, and payment support through a modern inspection platform. Inspectors use our system to receive appointments, complete inspections, and deliver reports, while maintaining control of their schedule and coverage area. What You'll Do Perform residential home inspections in accordance with industry standards Communicate clearly with buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals Capture photos, notes, and findings using mobile inspection tools Deliver professional inspection reports in a timely manner Represent HomeInspections.com professionally during client interactions This is a client-facing, communication-heavy role . Inspectors must be comfortable explaining findings clearly and professionally on-site. How Work Is Scheduled You choose the ZIP codes where you want to work You set your availability Appointments are booked through the platform You receive inspection details and complete the job Compensation Inspectors retain 90% of the inspection fee HomeInspections.com retains 10% to cover platform operations and payment processing Payments are processed through the platform and remitted to you To support local advertising in your chosen service areas, inspectors contribute to a shared marketing budget based on the number of households in the ZIP codes they select. This allows inspectors to focus on inspections while the platform drives customer bookings. What We Provide Online booking and scheduling system Payment processing and customer support for bookings Inspection management tools Branded apparel (optional) Access to upcoming HomeInspections.com reporting technology Requirements Active Home Inspector license General liability and E&O insurance (as required by law) Reliable transportation Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to use mobile apps and inspection software Professional demeanor and appearance Who This Is Great For Inspectors who want flexibility and control of their schedule Professionals who enjoy working directly with clients Inspectors looking to reduce time spent on marketing and admin tasks Experienced inspectors or newer inspectors building their workload Important Classification Note This is an independent contractor position (1099) .
