Vancouver, WA SALARY:
$33.26 per hourSCHEDULE
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Temporary 3-6 monthsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect construction projects involving roads, bridges, drainage systems, and traffic control features Track quantities, measurements, and material usage for ongoing projects Prepare daily inspection reports and maintainanized project records Respond to public inquiries and serve as a liaison for residents affected by construction Review project plans and ensure workplies with specifications and contract standards Conduct material testing and collect data for engineering analysis Assist with field activities including water quality monitoring, sampling, and surveying Coordinate efforts between developers, engineers, and public agenciesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Associate's or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or engineering technology or abination of education and relevant work experience. 2-3 years' experience in construction inspection, civil engineering, or similar technical field Familiarity with engineering principles, construction methods, and safety protocols Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specs Proficiency in using surveying instruments, lab test equipment, and basic software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is split between a standard office environment and outdoor field settings Must be able to walk uneven terrain, collect physical samples, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Exposure to varying weather conditions during fieldworkDIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION STATEMENT
