The Raleigh County Commission is accepting resumes to fill a full-time Building Code Inspector . Job duties include conducting inspections and examinations of buildings in the process of construction or renovations to ascertain the level of compliance with the state building code. The applicant must possess a Certified Code Inspector License by the International Code Council (ICC) or the ability to obtain the license within two years and should possess a background in construction. Additionally, the applicant must exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills. To be considered for this position, the applicant must pass drug screening, a background check and have a valid West Virginia Driver's License.
