Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Water, Sewer, and Storm Sewer QA/QC Specialist to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout construction projects involving water distribution, sewer systems, and stormwater management. In this role, you will oversee quality assurance and quality control processes, interpret technical drawings, and verify adherence to construction plans, specifications, and regulatory standards. Your expertise will help maintain project integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance from inception through completion. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of water, sewer, and storm sewer construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and building codes such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical, structural, energy, and federal safety regulations. Review construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to verify accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Manage quality control documentation by collecting data, completing inspection reports, and maintaining detailed records of construction activities. Monitor construction site activities to identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with construction management teams to enforce quality assurance procedures and ensure regulatory compliance across all phases of the project. Utilize construction management software to track progress, document inspections, and generate reports for stakeholders. Lead quality control meetings to communicate findings, coordinate inspections, and promote best practices in construction quality assurance. Experience Proven experience in construction inspection or quality control management within water, sewer, or stormwater infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction regulations including plumbing building codes, mechanical building codes, electrical building codes, structural systems, and energy building codes. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for complex infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience with construction management software tools for data collection and project tracking. Demonstrated ability to enforce quality compliance management standards on active construction sites. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and local building codes related to water and sewer systems. Excellent analysis skills combined with team leadership capabilities to coordinate inspection activities effectively.
