Industrial NON CDL Route Delivery Driver - Customer Service Representative, Industrial Store

Full-time Job Description Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver position. The Industrial Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones. Industrial Non CDL Route Delivery Driver also delivers freight to customers on a weekly route stop. Will also provide back up customer service support. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Deliver freight and gas cylinders to customers

Perform pre-trip inspection of truck

Load and unload freight and accurately fills out truck manifest

Accurately fill out gas invoices

Take basic orders from customers when needed

Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way

Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer

Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules

Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent

Valid Driver's license

Willingness to obtain Class B CDL with Hazardous Material endorsement preferred

No at fault accidents in the past 3 years

Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (writing invoices, picking up small cylinders, rolling large cylinders, pushing cylinder cart, hand trucks, steering truck, etc.)

Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing over 100 lbs

Ability to work safely around special hazards (i.e. mechanical - operating lift gate, and explosives - haul and work around flammable gas and non-flammable gas)

Load and secure freight and cylinders in trailer

Basic understanding of which applications are used for different gases

Basic understanding of welding machines and related tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
