Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction and materials handling team. In this role, you will operate various types of mobile cranes, including boom trucks and hydraulic cranes, to lift, move, and position heavy materials safely and efficiently across construction sites, warehouses, and shipping & receiving areas. Your expertise will ensure the smooth execution of lifting operations while adhering strictly to safety regulations and best practices. Duties Operate mobile boom truck cranes to lift and move heavy loads with precision. Follow load handling procedures in crane operations to ensure safety and efficiency during material lifts. Work with customers to ensure loads are secure using appropriate rigging techniques, loads are secured with correct rigging methods, and safety equipment to prevent accidents or load shifts. Conduct pre-operation inspections of crane machinery, hydraulics systems, safety equipment, and load handling gear to maintain optimal performance. Adhere to construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards during all lifting activities. Coordinate with site supervisors, signalers, and other team members to execute lifts smoothly while maintaining clear communication. Maintain detailed logs of crane operation activities, safety checks, and incident reports as required by company policies. Skills Mechanical knowledge of crane systems, hydraulics, load handling procedures, and materials handling equipment operation. Proven experience as a Crane Operator in construction or warehouse environments. Strong understanding of rigging techniques, load securing methods, and implementation of OSHA safety standards. Strong hand-eye coordination for precision and attention to detail Commercial driving skills for transport to and from job sites. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol guidelines at all times. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on boom truck cranes and related equipment to ensure safe operation. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safe lifting practices. Must have current relevant certifications (e.g. NCCCO certification) and CDL driver's license. $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 60.0 per week
