Based on experience and qualifications About Sky Limit Crane & Rigging Sky Limit Crane & Rigging is a Florida-based provider of operated crane, rigging, and heavy lifting services. We are seeking an experienced NCCCO-certified Crane Operator with a valid CDL to join our team in the Orlando/Central Florida market. This is a full-time position for an experienced crane operator who is safety-focused, dependable, professional, and comfortable working on a variety of jobsites throughout Central Florida. Some travel may be required based on project needs. Transport and operate crane equipment as required for scheduled jobs. Conduct required pre-operational and post-operational inspections of assigned equipment. Perform lifting operations in accordance with lift plans, jobsite requirements, and established safe operating practices. Work closely with riggers, signal persons, project managers, dispatch, and customer representatives to complete work safely and efficiently. Complete daily inspection reports, equipment documentation, job tickets, and other required jobsite paperwork. Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and professional condition. Identify and promptly report equipment defects, maintenance concerns, unsafe conditions, or other operational issues. Follow Company safety policies and customer-specific jobsite requirements. Represent Sky Limit Crane & Rigging professionally on customer jobsites and while operating Company equipment. Required Qualifications Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Demonstrated experience safely operating mobile cranes Ability to perform required equipment inspections and maintain accurate documentation Strong understanding of crane safety, load charts, setup requirements, and safe lifting practices Dependable attendance and ability to report to scheduled jobs on time Professional attitude and strong commitment to workplace safety Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Company and DOT requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience working on commercial construction, industrial, infrastructure, precast, rigging, or heavy lifting projects Rigging and signal-person experience Strong mechanical awareness and ability to identify potential equipment issues Clean driving and safety record Physical & Work Requirements Ability to safely climb into, enter, and exit crane equipment. Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, and perform the physical activities associated with crane operations. Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and varying jobsite conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. Ability to work overtime, early mornings, weekends, and varying schedules based on customer and project requirements.
