In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating cranes and heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that projects progress smoothly while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to building excellence and delivering quality results. Responsibilities Operate cranes, mobile cranes, forklifts and other heavy equipment with precision and safety awareness. Rigging materials securely for lifting operations, ensuring stability and adherence to safety protocols. Handle materials efficiently within construction sites, warehouses, or shipping & receiving areas to support project timelines. Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance as needed. Coordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences and ensure smooth workflow on-site. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and operational activities for accountability and compliance. Qualifications Proven experience operating cranes and heavy machinery in construction or industrial environments. Mechanical knowledge of crane systems, rigging techniques, and general heavy equipment operation. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial driving preferred. Strong understanding of rigging procedures, materials handling, and safety standards on construction sites. Ability to operate related equipment such as forklift. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Join us in building something great!
