Responsibilities Safely operate grapple trucks, boom trucks, and overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials according to load handling procedures and rigging standards Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of hydraulic systems, lifting equipment, safety gear, and crane components to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with OSHA safety standards Secure loads using appropriate rigging techniques and load securing methods to prevent shifting or falling during transit or placement Follow construction workplace safety regulations diligently while performing material handling tasks on-site or in warehouse environments Coordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences, ensure clear communication during crane operations, and execute tasks efficiently Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, safety checks, incident reports, and load documentation for accountability and compliance purposes Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, including wearing proper safety equipment such as helmets, gloves, harnesses, and reflective gear Experience Proven experience operating grapple trucks, boom trucks, cranes (including overhead cranes), or other lifting equipment in construction or warehouse settings Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics systems, crane operation mechanisms, and material handling equipment operation Familiarity with load handling procedures in crane operations and the use of rigging for secure lifting practices Demonstrated understanding of construction site safety regulations and OSHA safety standards applicable to heavy equipment operation Prior experience working with construction materials such as steel beams, pallets of supplies, or shipping containers is highly desirable Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial driving preferred Knowledge of backhoe operation or other heavy machinery is a plus for versatile site support Join us in a role where your skills make a tangible impact!
