Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our construction and materials handling team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes, including pinning boom system cranes , and hydraulic lifting equipment, to safely move heavy materials and equipment across construction sites, warehouses, and shipping & receiving areas. Your expertise in load handling procedures, rigging, and safety regulations will ensure efficient operations while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects with a focus on precision, safety, and teamwork. Duties Provide the customer with professional and proficient service in order to complete daily picks. Follow load securing rigging methods and load handling procedures to ensure safe transportation of materials and equipment. Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of crane equipment and load handling gear to identify potential issues before use. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards during all crane operations. Coordinate with customers and team members to plan lifting sequences and ensure materials are handled efficiently without risk. Maintain detailed logs of crane usage, load details, inspections, and safety checks for compliance purposes. Assist with material handling tasks such as operating forklifts, boom lifts, or other heavy equipment as needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of cranes, hydraulics, and load handling equipment operation. Proven experience with overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, and other heavy machinery in construction or warehouse settings. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and implementation of OSHA safety standards. Skilled in rigging techniques for secure load handling and material transportation. Ability to operate shipping & receiving equipment efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with safety equipment usage including harnesses, helmets, gloves, and other protective gear. Excellent understanding of construction workplace safety protocols and heavy equipment operation procedures.
