Blackshear, GA Full-Time | Home Every Night LBI Utilities is looking for an experienced Crane Operator to join our team. We are a locally owned utility contractor based in Blackshear, Georgia, and we take pride in maintaining a family-like work environment where employees are known by name and treated as part of the team. What We Offer Home every night - no extended travel Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications 401(k) Health insurance Full-time, steady work Local and regional projects Family-oriented company atmosphere Well-maintained equipment Opportunity to grow with an established utility company Responsibilities Safely operate cranes on utility construction projects Perform daily pre-trip and equipment inspections Properly set up crane, outriggers, rigging, and work areas Determine load weights, capacities, and safe lift configurations Work closely with ground crews, foremen, and other operators Follow company, OSHA, DOT, and jobsite safety requirements Assist the crew as needed when not actively operating the crane Maintain equipment and immediately report any mechanical or safety concerns Qualifications Valid CDL required Current crane operator certification required Previous crane operating experience preferred Strong understanding of rigging and safe lifting practices Ability to perform equipment inspections Good driving record Dependable and able to report to work on time Safety-minded with a team-first attitude Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions Who We're Looking For We aren't just looking for someone who can operate a crane.
