JIBE STAFFING
is seeking a skilled and dedicated Crane Operator for our clients team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of crane operation, materials handling, and construction workplace safety regulations. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering lifting equipment to load, unload, and position materials accurately in a warehouse environment. Your expertise in hydraulic systems, rigging, and heavy equipment operation will ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Operate overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, and other lifting equipment with precision and safety compliance. Handle loads using proper rigging techniques and load securing methods to prevent accidents or damage. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and related equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Follow all OSHA safety standards and construction site safety regulations during operations. Coordinate with team members to execute materials handling tasks efficiently within shipping & receiving or construction environments. Maintain accurate documentation of load movements and equipment maintenance logs. Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of appropriate safety equipment such as helmets, harnesses, and gloves. Assist with backhoe, excavator, or other heavy machinery operation as needed on the job site. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulic systems, cranes, and load handling procedures. Proven experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, backhoes, and excavators in construction or warehouse settings. Familiarity with material handling equipment operation and safety regulations related to heavy equipment use. Knowledge of construction workplace safety standards and OSHA safety standards implementation. Ability to perform rigging tasks using various load securing methods effectively. Excellent understanding of construction site safety practices and hazard prevention measures. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safe operations.
