Crane Operator Pay:

$22.00/hr Quarterly safety bonus opportunities

Shift Days and Hours:

5pm-3am Monday-Friday

Who You Are:

The Ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic, ability to coordinate several tasks concurrently, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work in a very fast-paced and deadline driven environment. 2+ year(s) manufacturing experience required along with prior Crane Operator experience. Glass industry experience a plus.

What You Will Be Doing:

Operate an overhead Crane.

Maintain Glass Storage area

Monitor Glass Inventory

Perform Weekly Glass Counts

Unload Glass Trucks

Operate a Forklift to empty glass hoppers

Support the glass cutting team

Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using other equipment throughout the warehouse as directed by management.

Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.

Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.

Maintain a safety-first work environment, utilizing proactive safety and ensuring all associates adhere to personal protective gear requirements and standard operating procedures.

Skills You Bring:

Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing preferred

Prior experience operating a crane, boom lift, or working as a heavy equipment operator.

High School diploma or equivalent

Able to read a tape measure and match the correct label with the correct lite of glass

Ability to drive a forklift or learn to drive a forklift

Ability to operate the overhead crane in a safe manner.
