Summary/Objective A crane operator uses the crane to lift, move, position, and place materials in specific areas. Uses the crane to lift, move, position, and place materials in specific areas. Pre-check the crane before each use to ensure it is safe to use and ensure the safety of the work environment. Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and employees. Technical knowledge of how to properly use equipment. Knowledge of the types of exterior building materials being moved, placed, loaded, or unloaded. Understand all safety requirements for the job site. Additional responsibilities may apply.
