About the Role We're hiring an experienced Crane Operator to safely operate stationary and traveling cranes — lifting, moving, and positioning loads according to written, verbal, or signal instructions. This role requires current, hands-on experience with Mobile Truck Cranes, Rough Terrain (RT) Cranes, or Tower/Lattice Cranes — we're specifically looking for candidates with real time behind the controls on at least one of these crane types. If crane work isn't available on a given day, other related duties will be assigned. Required Qualifications (These are must-haves — please only apply if you meet all of them) NCCCO certification, current and valid (required, not preferred) Minimum 3 years of related crane operating experience or equivalent training/education Current, hands-on experience operating at least one of: Mobile Truck Crane, RT Crane, or Tower/Lattice Crane Valid driver's license (this role requires driving trucks to worksites) Ability to pass a safety/skills evaluation prior to start Preferred Qualifications Multi-crane-type experience (e.g., both mobile and lattice) Prior experience working under general supervision with minimal oversight Essential Responsibilities Operate crane under general supervision, manipulating controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement per written, verbal, or signal instructions Perform a documented safety inspection of the crane daily before use Ensure loads are safely and properly attached before lifting or lowering Place blocks and outriggers correctly to prevent tip-over when lifting heavy loads Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy Identify and report any malfunctioning parts or safety concerns immediately Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and other required paperwork accurately Drive trucks to worksites and load/unload as needed Complete required annual crane safety training (up to 2x/year)
