Pay Rate:

$32.00/hour Job Summary ATSS is seeking an experienced 1st Class Crane Operator for our client in Pascagoula, MS. The ideal candidate will have extensive shipyard experience and be proficient in operating multiple types of heavy equipment used in shipbuilding and marine construction environments. Requirements Minimum 3 years of 1st Class shipyard experience Proven experience operating: Hydraulic cranes Friction cranes Dockside cranes Forklifts Cherry pickers Ability to safely maneuver and operate heavy equipment in a busy shipyard environment Strong understanding of safe crane and equipment operating procedures Ability to follow directions, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team Must be dependable and safety-conscious Job Responsibilities Safely operate various cranes and material-handling equipment throughout the shipyard Perform lifting, moving, loading, and positioning of materials and equipment Conduct required pre-operation inspections and report any equipment issues Follow all company, shipyard, and OSHA safety procedures Communicate effectively with ground personnel, riggers, supervisors, and other crane operators Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, structures, vessels, and equipment while operating machinery Assist with general material-handling operations as needed

Pay:

From $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 60.0 per week
