Job Description
- Job Title: Crane Operator
- Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to safely and efficiently operate overhead crane systems to move and position precast concrete products and molds.
The role involves pouring concrete into forms and handling finished products that weigh up to 20+ tons, ensuring proper identification and placement. The Crane Operator will also perform daily equipment inspections, maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, and assist with additional production duties as needed.
- Responsibilities
- + Operate overhead crane systems to move and position precast concrete products and molds.
+ Pour concrete into forms and strip finished products weighing up to 20+ tons.
+ Verify product and mold identification for proper handling and placement.
+ Complete daily equipment inspections and pre-operation safety checks.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine equipment upkeep.
+ Assist with additional production duties to support operational goals.
- Essential Skills
- + High school diploma or GED.
+ Previous experience in crane operation, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
+ Strong hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
+ Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Ability to read and understand safety procedures, work instructions, and operating manuals.
+ Capability to lift up to 40 pounds periodically throughout the shift.

- + Experience in concrete work. + Experience with overhead crane operation. + Ability and willingness to support general production and labor tasks when necessary.

- Work Environment
- The work environment includes outdoor and warehouse settings.
It is a production environment where employees work with concrete, resulting in a dirty environment. The warehouse is not climate-controlled, so employees will work in various weather conditions. The current schedule rotates weekly between morning and afternoon shifts, with morning hours from 4 AM to 12:30 PM and afternoon hours from 11 AM to 8 PM.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, NC.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $21.
00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
