Posted 03/2026 Job Description Job Summary A C01 crane operator operates mobile or stationary cranes to lift, move, and position heavy machinery and materials on construction or industrial sites. They are responsible for conducting daily safety inspections, interpreting load charts, maneuvering controls with precision based on signals, and performing routine maintenance.
Pay:
33.53/50.30
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Operations:
Manipulate pedals and levers to rotate, raise, and lower the boom and load-line.
Safety & Inspection:
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, check ground stability, and ensure proper outrigger placement to prevent tipping.
Load Handling:
Determine load weights and capacities, ensuring lifts do not exceed rated capacity.
Coordination:
Follow hand or radio signals from riggers or signal persons.
Maintenance:
Clean, lubricate, and maintain crane mechanisms.
