This position plays a key role in safely and efficiently executing structural demolition projects across the region. If you're a certified crane operator with demolition experience who takes pride in precision, safety, and teamwork, this role offers the opportunity to work on challenging demolition projects that require skill, focus, and attention to detail. Based in Lincoln, NE. Travel Required. What You'll Do Operate cranes to safely demolish structures in a controlled and efficient manner. Use crane operation skills to lift, move, and manage large materials, equipment, and demolition debris. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and safety checks on crane equipment. Collaborate with demolition crews to maintain jobsite safety and meet project schedules. Handle materials with precision to minimize hazards and protect surrounding structures. Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment. Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate demolition activities. Assist with other heavy equipment operation and jobsite duties as needed. What You'll Bring Minimum 3 years of crane operating experience, preferably in a demolition, construction, or heavy industrial environment. Current NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (or equivalent) required. Previous structural demolition experience required; experience on commercial and industrial demolition projects preferred. Strong understanding of crane operations, rigging practices, load charts, and site safety regulations. Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs. Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred. Physical ability to work outdoors in demanding conditions, including lifting, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions. Proven commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
