Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction and materials handling team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of cranes and heavy lifting equipment to facilitate efficient material movement on construction sites, warehouses, etc. Your expertise will ensure that load handling procedures are executed accurately while adhering to all safety regulations and standards. Responsibilities Operate cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, and other lifting equipment with precision and safety. Follow established load handling procedures and rigging methods to secure materials during lifting operations. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and heavy equipment, ensuring all safety equipment is functional and compliant with OSHA safety standards. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and implement safety protocols during all lifting activities. Coordinate with team members to plan lift sequences, ensuring optimal material handling efficiency on-site. Maintain detailed records of rental agreements / job detail, any incident reports, and inspection checklists. Assist in shipping & receiving operations by loading and unloading materials safely using appropriate lifting techniques. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of cranes, hydraulics, and load securing rigging methods. Proven experience operating cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment in construction or warehouse environments. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and OSHA safety standards related to crane operation and materials handling. Ability to interpret load charts, implement rigging plans, and execute safe lifting procedures effectively. Excellent understanding of materials handling techniques including load securing rigging methods and proper use of safety equipment Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence during all operations. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
