We have been in business since 1979, and our team owns the work, the outcomes, and the company. About the role We are looking for a qualified, safety-driven CDL Crane Operator. You will safely operate a company truck and telescopic boom crane to deliver and place structural steel materials at residential and commercial job sites. The right person brings strong technical ability, holds a high safety standard without being asked, and communicates clearly with contractors and teammates. What you'll bring Class B CDL (minimum) with air brake endorsement NCCCO Telescopic Boom Crane Certification, Fixed Cab (TSS) Rigger/Signal Person Basic Certification Ability to read a tape measure accurately and handle basic math Ability to interpret load charts and read residential blueprints Clear written and spoken communication in English Comfort sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting throughout the day What you'll doSafety and compliance Complete pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and daily crane inspections Inspect rigging before every lift Keep the job site safe, controlled, and clean, and assess each site before setup Equipment operation and setup Set up the crane and place outrigger pads correctly for each site Operate within load chart limits, every lift, no exceptions Check and secure loads, rig materials, and assist erectors when needed Job execution Place materials accurately to the site plan Communicate with the crew through every lift and keep the work moving safely Physical requirements Heavy material handling, frequent climbing in and out of vehicles, and repetitive bending, kneeling, standing, and sitting What we're looking for A real commitment to safety and attention to detail Dependability and professionalism on every site A team player who can also exercise sound independent judgment We also hold weekly open interviews on Tuesdays between 9AM and Noon.
