Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operations Operate cranes and related equipment to safely lift, move, position, and transport materials, equipment, and heavy loads. Perform lifting operations in a safe, efficient, and productive manner while adhering to established procedures. Verify that all lifts are properly planned, rigged, and within the rated load capacity of the crane and lifting equipment. Execute tasks and support lifting activities as directed by the Lead Operator, Supervisor, or Site Lead. Assist with general project operations and perform other duties as assigned. Safety and Compliance Maintain a strong commitment to personal safety and the safety of coworkers at all times. Demonstrate and promote a proactive safety culture through safe work practices, leadership, and positive influence on team members. Conduct pre-operational inspections of cranes, slings, cables, straps, and other lifting gear to ensure safe working condition. Verify that all rigging and lifting equipment has been properly inspected prior to use. Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and crane and rigging safety programs. Foster an environment of open communication regarding safety concerns, hazards, and operational risks. Maintain clear and continuous communication with riggers, signal persons, and supervisors through radio, hand signals, and visual contact during lifting operations. Work closely with managers, team leaders, riggers, and signal persons to ensure safe and efficient project execution. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and established crane operating procedures. Support and promote both personal and crew compliance with all applicable safety guidelines and operational policies.
Key Focus:
Safe crane operation, effective communication, regulatory compliance, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Up to $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates, subject to eligibility requirements and company policy. Required Qualifications Must be at least 25 years of age. Current NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certification in the applicable crane type is required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating cranes in an industrial, construction, petrochemical, or heavy-lift environment. Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a fit-for-duty assessment, physical examination, drug screening (if applicable), and background check. Must be willing and able to relocate to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Preferred Qualifications & Physical Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working in industrial, construction, petrochemical, or heavy lift environments preferred. Ability to work in a variety of conditions, including both indoor and outdoor settings, with duties that may vary daily based on project requirements. Must be physically capable of performing demanding job tasks, including climbing, lifting, carrying, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and safely raise or lower materials overhead when required. Must possess the strength, agility, and endurance necessary to perform essential job functions in a fast-paced industrial environment. Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions while maintaining safe work practices. Must be able to pass any required site-specific training, certifications, and safety requirements. Work Environment Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor industrial environments. Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise levels, dust, and other site-related conditions may occur. The position requires frequent physical activity, including lifting, climbing, reaching, stooping, and working around heavy equipment and machinery.
