Full-Time Job Summary is seeking an experienced Crane Operato r to operate heavy friction cranes on barges and land-based worksites. Most projects are located along the Mississippi River south of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, or at our yard in Harvey, Louisiana. Travel to remote worksites and other geographic areas may be required. IND123 Responsibilities Safely operate heavy friction cranes on land and marine vessels. Operate lattice boom and friction cranes for marine construction projects. Support pile driving and other marine construction activities. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all company, project, and OSHA safety requirements. Work effectively as part of a marine construction crew. Travel and work at remote job sites as needed. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Authorized to work in the United States. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability and willingness to travel to remote worksites. Must pass a drug screen, background investigation, and fit-for-duty examination. Eligible to enroll in the DISA program. NCCCO Crane Certification with Lattice Boom Crawler (LBC) or Lattice Boom Crane (LAT) designation. TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience operating heavy friction cranes, preferably in marine construction. Experience working on or near the water, preferably along the lower Mississippi River. Experience operating Manitowoc friction cranes. Experience operating cranes mounted on barges or other marine vessels. Experience driving piles in a marine construction environment.
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
