The crane operator is required to safely operate cranes efficiently and maintain a standard of accuracy that aligns with the company procedures and customer requirements. Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines ensuring the right selection and set up is made regarding crane, lift or hoist
- Inspects and assesses ground conditions as well as any possible overhead obstructions
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections, to include performance of routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintain logs and records of operational activities
- Maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations, and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
