Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy lifting equipment, including mobile cranes, boom trucks, and overhead cranes, to facilitate the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment across construction sites. Your expertise in crane operation, load handling procedures, and safety regulations will ensure projects are completed on time and within safety standards. Duties Operate mobile cranes, boom trucks, overhead cranes, and other lifting equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and related equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance Safely lift, move, and position heavy materials, machinery, and supplies according to load securing rigging methods and load handling procedures Follow construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards during all operations Use rigging techniques to secure loads properly for safe transportation and lifting operations Assist with shipping & receiving activities by loading and unloading materials using appropriate heavy equipment Maintain detailed records of crane operation logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation Qualifications Proven experience operating mobile cranes, overhead cranes, boom trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a construction environment Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, load handling procedures, and material handling equipment operation Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial driving preferred Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and implementation of OSHA safety standards Familiarity with load securing rigging methods, rigging practices, and safety equipment usage Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on cranes and hydraulic systems Prior experience working with heavy lifting equipment such as backhoes or material handling machinery is a plus Join our team to leverage your expertise in crane operation while contributing to impactful construction projects.
