This is a hands-on role supporting drilling, maintenance, and marine operations. Previous drillship experience is required. We're looking for someone who is comfortable making critical lifts in a busy offshore environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and communication. Responsibilities Operate pedestal cranes to move cargo, bulk materials, containers, tubulars, drilling equipment, and supplies between supply vessels and the rig. Support deck operations, maintenance projects, and rig moves as needed. Perform blind lifts, heavy lifts, and personnel transfers where permitted, working closely with deck crews, banksmen, and the bridge to ensure safe and efficient lifts. Maintain a thorough understanding of load charts, crane inspections, lifting gear, rigging practices, weather limitations, and permit-to-work procedures. Conduct routine crane inspections, identify equipment deficiencies, and assist with basic maintenance tasks. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure safety and operational efficiency in a fast-paced offshore setting. Requirements Previous drillship experience is mandatory.
