Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Operator to join our team and drive operational excellence on site. As a Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy lifting equipment, including cranes and material handling machinery, to facilitate efficient workflows. Your expertise in crane operation, load handling procedures, and safety protocols will ensure projects are completed smoothly, on time, and within safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency. Duties Operate -specific lifting equipment such as all terrain cranes and boom trucks from 50-300 ton with precision and safety. Execute load handling procedures in crane operations, including rigging, load securing methods, and materials handling techniques to ensure safe lifting and transportation of materials. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and heavy equipment to verify proper functioning and adherence to safety regulations. Follow construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards during all operations, ensuring compliance at all times. Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to plan lifts, load placements, and material movements efficiently. Utilize safety equipment diligently during operations, including harnesses, helmets, gloves, and other protective gear. Maintain detailed records of crane operation logs, inspection reports, incident reports, and inbound/outbound shipping documentation related to lifting activities. Experience Proven experience operating cranes such as all terrain cranes and boom trucks, or hydraulic lifting equipment in a construction or oil feild environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, rigging techniques, load securing methods, and materials handling processes. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial driving and shipping & receiving operations preferred. Familiarity with construction and oil field site safety regulations including OSHA standards and heavy equipment operation protocols. Hands-on experience with backhoe operation and other material handling equipment is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to implement safety procedures consistently while managing complex lifting tasks in busy construction workplaces. Prior work experience in construction or industrial settings emphasizing crane operation, heavy equipment handling, and adherence to safety regulations.
