This position requires regular travel to project sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on drilling experience and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality work. Essential DutiesResponsibilities Operate drilling equipment to obtain soil samples for geotechnical analysis. Conduct accurate visual inspections and log soil samples for reporting. Hold and guide drill rods during drilling operations. Load and unload drilling equipment from company vehicles. Safely drive company vehicles to and from job sites. Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members. Maintain consistent, on-time attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2-5 years of experience in soil drilling. Valid driver's license required. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Basic computer skills. Physical Requirements Work outdoors up to 100% of scheduled hours in varying weather conditions. Stand for up to 8 hours per day and walk on uneven or unstable surfaces (concrete, dirt, gravel, etc.). Bend, stoop, climb, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Use hands to operate, assemble, and maintain tools and equipment. Communicate effectively in person and by phone/radio. Drive company vehicles safely. Ability to travel frequently, work flexible hours, and stay overnight as required.
