PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Entry-level position to assist the driller to move, set up and operate drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes for geotechnical exploration test borings Assist driller in obtaining samples from well holes as directed by the project manager Dig and clean mud pits Label sample containers as directed Assist driller in the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment Have or obtain a CDL-A license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB MAY INCLUDE

Must be able to drive/shift gears for extended periods of time to and from job sites Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while drilling Ability to consistently lift drill steel, materials and samples weighing 25 lbs- 80lbs Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat and cold) Manual hand dexterity All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their protected veteran status, and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability
