In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting horizontal drilling projects, ensuring precise installation of underground utilities and infrastructure. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will contribute to the successful completion of complex construction tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, develop your technical skills, and be part of impactful utility installation projects. Duties Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of horizontal drilling equipment to ensure efficient project execution Support excavation and utility locating activities to accurately identify underground infrastructure before drilling begins Operate loaders, backhoes, excavators, and water trucks as needed for site preparation and material handling Conduct routine inspections of construction machinery to ensure compliance with safety procedures and equipment safety standards Follow federal construction safety regulations and construction site safety protocols at all times during project activities Support construction grading, utility work, and excavation tasks to prepare sites for drilling operations Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations and equipment maintenance schedules Skills Proven experience in construction utility work, excavation, or related fields with a focus on horizontal drilling projects Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Skilled in operating heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks safely and efficiently Knowledge of construction grading techniques and site preparation procedures Familiarity with utility locating methods to prevent damage during drilling activities Ability to follow detailed safety regulations including federal construction safety standards and equipment safety procedures Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and safe operation of construction vehicles Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety compliance and project goals Join our team today and be part of innovative infrastructure projects that make a difference!
